Our Repair Process
We take great pride in our repair process β top-quality service to get your audio equipment back in prime condition as quickly as possible.
How It Works
Eleven steps, from intake to pickup
- Get in touch β schedule a repair or inquire about our services through our contact page or submit-a-repair form.
- Diagnosis β we diagnose the issue(s) with your amplifier.
- Quote and approval β we contact you with a full explanation of what's wrong and a complete repair cost estimate for your approval.
- Diagnostic fee β there's no fee for diagnosing any issue.
- Turnaround time β typically 1 day to 4 weeks unless parts are unavailable at that time.
- Cost β depends on damages, brand, replacement-amp cost, parts and labor. Most amplifiers run around $80 to $120 to repair. Shipping not included.
- When repair costs more than replacement β sometimes it's cheaper to replace than repair. We'll be honest with you, and we offer used amplifiers (with the original owner's permission) as direct replacements.
- Maintenance package β $35 β we inspect your amp, replace worn-out thermal tape or grease, clean inside and out with 99% isopropyl alcohol, and verify the cooling fans are running at full speed (replacing if not). Parts are extra.
- Stay informed β we encourage you to use our Client Status for fast service and real-time updates and photos of your repair.
- Trust the experts β experience top-quality amplifier repair service from technicians who've been doing this since 1985.
